		<description>Please send our sympathies to Professor Scanlan&#039;s family, and add our thanks as well. I was Dr. Scanlan&#039;s student at Edina High School, graduating in 1962. At a turbulent time in my life, his class added stability, discipline and fun. I know I wouldn&#039;t have made it through college without the experience of his high school class, and join his other students in saying that we wouldn&#039;t have missed his class for anything.
