What? No Hadrianus in the name?
I was picturing this as the size of a normal grave stele until I saw the thumbnail at the bottom. Kind of a small stone, then?
I don’t see an interpunct between the T & the Aeli, but the picture makes it look like there’s one between the L & I of Aeli.
It’s not this inscription precisely, but cf. 46.1 & 46.2 in this UNC dissertation (pp. 181-2 of the pdf, pp. 149-50 of the diss. itself): http://www.atlantides.org/downloads/demarc/BoundaryDisputes.pdf
(and I am happy to note that, although it is a UNC diss. under Talbert, Boatwright is on the committee).
