Hi, You seem to have ommited in your “Day in Ancient History” series the fact that in Sep-Oct 106AD were unfurled the main events of Trajan’s second Dacian war, where the Romans (according to Julian Bennett’s book “Trajan”) fielded the largest army (150000 troops and auxilliaries) in Europe before WWI.
