David Gill alerted us to this series of ads from TIM (an Italian phone company) in which Caesar is shilling cell phones with some Latin thrown in … the first one (not necessarily the first one created) riffs on the veni, vidi, vici thing:

… then he’s trying to pick up puellae … plenty of Latin in this one (could be an interesting student translation project?]:

… there are others in the series without Latin … most seem to feature Caesar walking around with a number of knives in his back …
