Charles Pazdernik writes:
The Department of Classics at Grand Valley State University (Allendale and Grand Rapids, Michigan) will be staging its fourth HOMERathon, featuring Stanley Lombardo’s translation of the Iliad, over a 24-hour span on Wednesday and Thursday, 2-3 October. There will be a keynote address by Prof. Paul Woodruff of U. T. Austin at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, focusing upon the Embassy to Achilles and reprising some of the themes of his celebrated recent book, The Ajax Dilemma.
