This Day in Ancient History

pridie idus januarias

  • 49 B.C. — Caesar crosses the Rubicon (yet another suggestion).

  1. David,

Nice new site! Unfortunately for your hit counter I’ll be reading most posts through Google Reader, but I enjoy the content nonetheless.

  2. Thanks for rogueclassicism – I use it almost daily. I have no comments to contents, but the new theme is a little less than perfect.

“quidquid bene dictum est ab ullo, meum est” wraps below the bottom of the header in Firefox (on ubuntu-linux), but much worse are these “snap-shots” popping up everywhere: they are driving me nuts! Is there a way to disable them?

    1. I’ll probably fiddle with the theme down the road a bit … I might change it entirely (but I still want three columns!). Snapshots have been disabled; I didn’t know they were enabled (must be a default; they seem to be blocked in my firefox so i didn’t notice them)
