Not a simple show-room, but a necessary show-room I dare say. This depends on the current italian critical situation of the cultural heritage due to the lack of funds necessary to the conservative works of a huge archaeological estate whose majority is concentrated in Rome. The recent intervention of a well known italian manifacturer Diego Della Valle, who arranged an initial funding of 25 million € in order to start the restoration of the Colosseum, is the sign of how hard is the situation. So the show-room of a Vatican’s representative is concerned to the currente italian cultural emergency. That’s my opinion.
