Sarcophagus of the Moment — Achilles Drags Hector

Very nice 2nd/3rd century Roman sarcophagus found at Athens … not sure what’s going on with the guy under the chariot though …

Classical Ink IX

[not sure why this decided to post strangely the other day … sorry; just noticed now]

Daniel Gejic sent in some photos of his ink …

Daniel glosses it thusly:

The Tattoo was made by Auge Tattoo Frankfurt, Germany

Artist: Hammer

Layout and design by myself and the artist
I’ve studied Ancient History and Classical Archaeology in Berlin (Germany) and worked as an assistant professor in Frankfurt (Germany). The Symbols on the shields are the Logos of the Football-Teams I’ve played for in my 17 years lasting career playing American football as a running back (at the moment i play for the Langen Knights, Langen, Germany)

Nice! Thanks Daniel!
Feel free to send in your own classical ink!
