I’m not going to get caught up in the usual hype that occurs this year with various news outlets attempting to connect a highly commercialized ‘holiday’ in February to an ancient Roman dog-sacrificing ritual that doesn’t even occur on the same day, but instead will just post some links to some moulden oldies from our past:
